July update

I started off the month by I started making a cool mask for the masquerade ball coming up this month! I traced a mask shape onto cardboard, it looks like a jester shape, I chose to paint my mask in silver paint and then added blue details and glitter and star sparkles. I then added light purple feathers to the side which looks really cool. I can't wait to wear it with my silver dress.

I looked at hairstyles for the ball, we tried a cool triple braid that merged into a ponytail, i really liked that. I am excited that I am going to a hairdresser on the morning of the ball to make sure I look extra fabulous. I painted my nails with a silver and purple glitter polish to match my mask and dress.

In sensory I had fun stacking blocks, dominoes and mine craft boxes., I built a castle with the blocks too!

In cooking I made fried rice. I cut the vegetables, some herbs and helped cook everything together, it was really tasty! I also made some delicious pasta, I helped put the sauce together using tomatoes, onion and basil. I helped grate the cheese. It was very tasty and I would like to make it again. I made a delicious chicken and chickpea curry, we picked herbs from the garden and I helped cook the spics mix before we added the rest of the ingredients.

Vegetable Soup

On Monday in Cooking we were making Vegetable soup. I had to cut some frozen celery then I put some cold ice down Jordon's shirt and she laughed her head off. It helped her to forget about the raw onions that made her eyes sweaty.  I was stirring the soup as it cooked to make sure it didn't burn on the bottom

Wearable Arts dress
