May Update

I started off the month right by having a high tea in girls group. We decorated the table with flowers, had a pot of passion fruit and vanilla herbal tea and ate buttered Pikeletes that we made ourselves. It was nice to enjoy a warm cuppa and chat about what we have been up to lately.

The next week we made fluffies in Quirks cafe and listened to the witch and the Cherry tree story. We then used AI to write a funny story about us going to a cat cafe, we had so much fun. I also really enjoyed our wacky hair day,  I looked on google for crazy hair styles and found one that made me look like a 'Who' from Dr Seuss!

In cooking we made super delicious mini cheesecakes with blueberries on top. I helped blend up the biscuits and butter for the base of the cheesecakes. We then made a self crusting quiche using herbs from the garden as well as spinach and tomatoes that I diced up myself.

In sensory, I took a virtual tour on a train and then built a dino safari train track. I enjoyed doing test runs and problem solving to make a smooth ride. Another day we built a car track that was neon and glowed under the black light. I watched clips of the movie “Cars” which was really fun. D.H.

Vegetable Soup

On Monday in Cooking we were making Vegetable soup. I had to cut some frozen celery then I put some cold ice down Jordon's shirt and she laughed her head off. It helped her to forget about the raw onions that made her eyes sweaty.  I was stirring the soup as it cooked to make sure it didn't burn on the bottom
